User data deletion

1. Overview

creatorXchange is committed to protecting your privacy and providing you control over your data. This document outlines the process for requesting deletion of your personal data from our platform.

2. What Data Can Be Deleted

We can delete the following types of data:

2.1 Account Information

  • Profile information
  • Contact details
  • Account preferences
  • Authentication data

    • 2.2 Content Data

  • Uploaded content
  • Created clips
  • Distribution history
  • Performance metrics

    • 2.3 Platform Data

  • Analytics data
  • Usage statistics
  • View counts
  • Engagement metrics

    • 2.4 Payment Information

  • Transaction history
  • Payment details
  • Earnings records

    • 3. How to Request Data Deletion

    You can request data deletion in three ways:

    3.1 Through Your Account

  • Log in to your creatorXchange account
  • Go to Settings > Privacy
  • Click “Delete My Data”
  • Confirm your choice

    • 3.2 Via Email

  • Send an email to admin@creatorXchange.co
  • Subject line: “Data Deletion Request”
  • Include your full name, the email associated with your account, your user type (Creator/Clipper), and the reason for deletion (optional)

    • 3.3 Via Contact Form

  • Visit creatorxchange.co/contact
  • Tell us you are making a Data Deletion Request
  • Include the information listed in 3.2

    • 4. Verification Process

    To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity before processing any deletion request:

  • Account holders will need to confirm via email
  • Additional verification may be required for sensitive data
  • Business accounts may need to provide authorization documentation

    • 5. Deletion Timeline

  • Requests are typically processed within 30 days

    • You will receive confirmation when the request is received, when verification is complete, when deletion is in progress, and when deletion is complete.

    6. What Happens After Deletion

    When your data is deleted:

  • Account access will be terminated
  • Content will be removed from our platform
  • Analytics data will be anonymized
  • Payment records will be retained as required by law

    • 7. Data We Must Retain

    Some data may be retained for:

  • Legal compliance
  • Financial record-keeping
  • Fraud prevention
  • Platform security
  • Aggregate analytics (anonymized)

    • 8. Third-Party Platforms

    Please note:

  • Content distributed to other platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) must be deleted separately
  • We will remove access to future distributions
  • Previously distributed content may remain on third-party platforms

    • 9. Business Account Deletion

    Business accounts require additional steps:

  • Transfer or close all active projects
  • Settle any outstanding payments
  • Download necessary records
  • Submit business verification for deletion

    11. Additional Rights

    You may have additional rights depending on your location:

  • EU residents (GDPR rights)
